Growing A Plant.

Plants!!!!!!

In Rimu Over the next two terms we will be growing our own plants. I'm growing parsley because why not. To care for my plant I will water it every second day and not get it TOO wet. I think my plant will grow nicely but take it's time.

I will be able to put my plant in a proper pot when it has two sets of leaves and to fully grow it will take 70-90 day that's a long time. 

Keyboard skills

Today we did keyboard skill and I must say I did a lot better today. Keyboard skills is helping us to type faster and spell better. I love keyboard skills.

Next time I'm going to try type a little faster and not look at the keyboard.

How to care for others

• Check if they are ok.
• Help them out.
• Listen to them.
• Be friendly.
• Care for them.
• BE KIND. 
• It does not matter if they are different just care for them. 

I have learnt to care for others by helping them. 

In the future I am going to care for everyone.

My next step for handwriting is to not have such a shaky arm and to do all the time slops.
I think my handwriting today was ok but I could of done better.

Food For Thought

Food For Thought!!!!

Today Rimu had our second session of Food For Thought. I wasn't here for the first session but I was here for the one today. Today we look at the sugars in some of the drinks that people have everyday. The most sugar was in a E2 and that had 20 teaspoons of sugar in it WOW!! thats a lot. We also looked at the back of some labels of some foods.  Tomorrow we are going on a supermarket trip to look at some foods that are good for you and some bad and we will be able to tell by the food labels on the back of the box or what the food is in. I can't wait.

A couple weeks ago the Senior Hub went to Mt Hutt to go skiing. It was really awesome and today my class did a screencastify on our Skiing story so if you click on my video you will see my screencastify.

I think my writing is ok but I should start writing more and think more about my writing.
