what work I have done today.

Reading!


Today I did my reading on what my previous knowledge was on Matariki and they I had to read a text about Matariki then answer some short questions about what I know now after reading the text.

Here is what I knew about Matariki before reading the text

Matariki is the celebration end of the lunar year and the maori new year. There are 7 sister or 7 stars that rise up at early hours of the morning. The sister all have names, they are Tupa-a-nuku, Tupu-a-rangi, waiti & waita, Waipuna Rangi and Ururangi.

I haven't gotten to answer all the questions yet about what I know now. I will update you when I have.
