4 Critical literacy questions.
I am answering these questions from the critical literary matrix about that story abomination by Robert Swindle.
- How does the text depict age, gender, cultural groups - The righteous cult/community.
- How would the text be different if it were told in another time, place or culture? - If this story was in today day and age it would be much different because there is more free speech and a lot more support for kids caught in bad situations.
- What does the author want us to know? - That you can overcome what is going on and that things will get better.
- How are characters constructed in this text? - some very strong and some very week. some helpless and some powerful. Martha started off weak but ended out strong and powerful and her parents started of powerful and ended up being weak and helpless.
