Name video response.

On Thursday my class watched video about names and how hard it is for people the come into a place were we speak English and there name is in Japaneses or mandarin.  Most of the time people change names to an English name to avoid people trying to say there real names and messing it up. I think everyone should have there real name be shown and that they should be able to say it loud and proud without having to worry about someone saying it wrong or being rude / Racist over there name. Everyone deserves to use there real names and be proud.

This is my art work. As you can see I have done shading, sketching, name designing and drawing people. 

To make this happen we have used pencil, paper and help from our teacher and her site. 

Our teacher taught us how to sketch and shade, How to make it look like the light is coming  from different angles and how to draw an outline of someones body.

For me somethings worked and somethings didn't. Like shading worked for me, but I couldn't get a hold of the drawing people. Designing my name wasn't to hard, but I couldn't really get sketching the outline of the body.

What Makes A Strong Community?

What makes a strong community?

A strong community is everyone coming together in a times of need. You can have a strong community by making it litter free place. Having a strong community is being able to trust everyone. You should have a strong community at home and and school. Communicating is key in a strong community. A strong community is working together.

At the end of the day I think that Hornby High School is a strong community.

Today at Cybersmart we made a D.L.O . I made mine about things to remember when using your device. I showed 6 things that you should be doing when you have you device.  

My roles and responsibilities at HHS are…

A role is to be a kind and helpful student. I can do that by helping everyone. One of my responsibilities is to show up to school on time. I can do that by setting an alarm or getting someone to wake me up.  Another role is to be a role model for younger students. I can show this by doing the right thing, showing them what it takes to be a good student and encouraging them to be the  best they can be. One of my last responsibilities is to take every opportunity I get. I can do that by just doing it!!

Over all it is important that I show all the C.A.R.R values at all times.
